With the introduction of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (WI DHS) Managed Care Organization (MCO) Incentive in 2019, MCOs were granted login access to the eQuality: WCCEAL website so they could manage their membership list and see which of their members were also participating in the WCCEAL program.
At that time MCO users were given access to see aggregate level data and reports in WCCEAL, in 2024 the reports visible to MCO users were expanded to include sponsor level reports and comparisons. An MCO user can login just like their member ALCs and instead of seeing specific ALC level information they can view WCCEAL data and reports as well as aggregate level reports for all their member ALCs participating in WCCEAL.
MCO users can now assist their member ALCs by identifying trends and changes in the aggregate WCCEAL reports, they can see summary reports for both the quarterly QI variables and the yearly resident satisfaction survey right on the eQuality website just like their member ALCs. They are able to see the aggregate level data for their member ALCs and compare it to all of WCCEAL.
MCO users have also been given access to the CRC (Clinical Resource Center) just like their WCCEAL member ALCs. CRC is an invaluable resource for ALCs in their quality improvement journey. CRC is an informational and educational website designed to provide key information and resources about clinical care for long-term care staff. It has access to training activities, regulations and staff resources for clinical long-term care. It also provides free access to PALTMed (formerly AMDA) materials including clinical practice guidelines and resources.
