Implementing evidence-based interventions into routine practice faces different barriers in different contexts. Using implementation strategies that are well-suited to overcome the unique barriers in a given context can improve intervention adoption, implementation, and sustainment. However, there are dozens of known barriers and strategies. A decision support tool can help as a starting point. The Adapting Guideline Implementation to Local Environments (AGILE) tool builds on established frameworks from implementation science to enable users to select relevant barriers from a menu and receive a ranked list of recommended strategies.
